Job Description

  • Actively shape and execute category strategy, driving development and performance of the assigned portfolio
  • Lead end-to-end Category Management projects, including assortment optimization, promotional planning, and portfolio recommendations tailored to specific sales channels and key customers
  • Develop customer-centric assortment strategies, planograms, and merchandising standards, ensuring strong in-store execution
  • Cooperation with the global Team, with a strong portfolio independent on the local market
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment on category priorities and execution
  • Take an active role in client meetings and category workshops, ensuring high-quality engagement and long-term relationship building
  • Monitor category performance and KPIs, translating data into actionable recommendations
  • Daily working with market data and consolidating insights from multiple sources (including Nielsen, GfK).

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in FMCG, preferably in Category Management, Trade Marketing, or a related commercial role
  • Experience in the food category will be a strong advantage
  • Background in research or data analytics agencies (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar or others) is also highly valued
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive insights from data and translate them into business actions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making
  • English proficiency at a minimum level of B2 is required.
